We took part in a knitting competition to make mice for charity to get them in the Guinness Book of Records. We contributed 320 mice from our group.
This year we are planning to knit and sew items for local hospitals.

In our group we come together with our projects twice a month. We all have our favourite types of craft, but whatever we do, it is fulfilling and relaxing. It is satisfying to create something from basic materials to pieces of art. It is rewarding to see the final product and knowing that we have made it.

We have demonstrations by the members of our group doing quilting, blackwork embroidery, macrame, decoupage, needle-felting, beadwork, jewellery making, tapestry and many more.

Some people take up the new skill and make projects from the demonstrations, others enjoy trying it out, and wait for the next demonstration. Not everything suits everybody.
Please come along and try us out. Our meetings are happy social occasions where new members are always welcome to join us, and contribute with new ideas. We are very happy to give advice and lend a hand.
