Our Short Mat Bowls Group started in 2013 using one mat loaned to us by Caldicot Scout Group. Since then we have purchased more equipment and joined the Monmouthshire Short Mat Bowls league. During our first year of league membership we finished nowhere, but since then we have won the League title four times.
We also take part in the Monmouthshire Triples tournaments, held each Spring and Autumn.
In 2018 we won the inaugural Severn Challenge Cup competition against Ripple in Worcestershire, and held onto the trophy in 2019. We competed again for the Severn Challenge Cup but sadly lost to Ripple who now hold the cup.
We are looking for new players, come and give us a try.
